Nativity in AZ

This year we were invited by some friends to join their Christmas Eve nativity, along with a couple other families in our ward. The adults read from the scriptures while the kids played the parts. The Halls had set up a beautiful nativity right in their backyard.

Dad's Birthday Bash

Dad's birthday started out with a present left on the porch from the Soderquists. Here is dad modeling his new present as Santa Chef. Dad has mad cooking skills.

In the afternoon we bundled up in the Expedition and made the trek to Santa's House. It was snowy and cold. Mom and Dad jumped on Santa's sleigh for a picture. Dad even received birthday wishes from Santa Claus.

We sang happy birthday and Dad made his wish and blew out the candles with some help.

As part of Dad's birthday bash we drove to the Palace to see some Detroit basketball as the Pistons played the Bulls. We cheered the Pistons on to victory and they won 102-98. After the game it was snowing hard and it took us 3 1/2 hours to drive home to Midland. It was quite the birthday adventure.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD - YOU ARE THE BEST DAD - WE ALL LOVE YOU!

Pssst... are you sleeping ?

Now THAT's what I call Family Togetherness...
Merry Christmas!

didn't someone get kicked out of the fort for a *ahem* gas problem??
Making really cool forts (NOT farts) was definitely a skill we learned in our youth.
